The following is a list of the projects currently underway or planned at the club. Most of the projects are funded by a combination of grant money and club match money.

Heartland Connections - The Bainbridge Island Sportsmen's Club (BISC) is sponsoring a proposal to the Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Parks and Recreation District for the initial land acquisition for a concept we call Heartland Connections.   Click here to view the main body of the proposal.  For more information contact Lynda McMaken or Steve Korn.

Pistol Range - this project is funded by a FARR grant with club match. For more details click here.

Archery Range - this project is funded by a FARR grant with club match. For more details click here.

Teal Trap - We submitted a grant proposal in June 2009 to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) for the purchase and installation of a Testa Rossa Teal Trap from Briley Mfg. The addition of this trap will complete our 5-Stand Sporting Clays setup and allow us to have an NSCA certified course.  Grants

We are submitting or have submitted six grant proposals in October/November:

Two proposals to the Bainbridge Island Parks Foundation (Pond Aeration and ADA Compliant, fully plumbed bathroom for the new Archery Range building)

Proposal to Rotary for the next phase of the clubhouse restoration.

Three proposals to the NRA Foundation (Rifle Range berm refurbishment, Pistol Range sound absorption and Trap Range moving target system for police use.
