IMPORTANT NOTICE - PISTOL/RIFLE RANGE CLOSURE AS OF MAY 12, 2009
The pistol and rifle ranges are now closed until construction is completed. The target tracks were dismantled today and everything will be moved to the rifle range tomorrow for storage. In addition, the rifle range will be used for construction materials storage. Ken will post range closure signs. The trap range will have to be closed any time pistol and rifle range construction is ongoing. We will have people and equipment north of the pistol range and downrange on the rifle range. Trap shoots normally scheduled for Thursday evening, Friday morning, and the 2nd and 4th Sunday afternoons may have to be canceled, depending on the construction schedule. We will post closings here.
Work Party Safety IMPORTANT!!: If work-parties are intending to be down-range at any time, MAKE SURE that the available yellow cords with signs attached are strung across BOTH the Pistol and Rifle range entrances indicating that you are down-range. We haven’t seen “Human” on a hunting tag, and we DON’T want to start with YOU! Farr Construction is Starting Soon - Check the FARR Projects page on our site for more info. Please send your name, email, and phone number to Farr-Volunteer@bainbridgesportsmensclub.org so we can call on you to help out. Your contact information will only be used by the Farr volunteer coordinator and will not be shared outside of the club. IMPORTANT: FARR work may preempt regularly scheduled range hours and require the cancellation of range operations, including classes and fun-gun competitions and events. This might happen on short notice depending on the needs of the FARR work group, and every effort will be made to avoid conflict.
